ISAT 2020 – New Test Dates to be Announced

ACER has announced that the ISAT will no longer run from March to the following February. Instead, from March 2020, the ISAT will be offered for just four nine-day periods each academic year. More information on the new test dates should be coming by the end of the year.

For students who intend to practice as a doctor in Singapore, you can study Medicine overseas in Australia at a Singapore Medical Council (SMC) approved school. ISAT is the required test for most Australian undergraduate medical courses approved by the SMC. Here is the list of recognised schools using ISAT:
- Monash University, Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences
- University of New South Wales, Faculty of Medicine
- The University of Queensland, School of Medicine
- The University of Western Australia, Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences
About the ISAT
ISAT is a computer-based multiple-choice test that is designed to assess the student’s ability to understand and analyse written passages, mathematical relations and tabular/graphical data. It includes 100 questions from a variety of sources, ranging from mathematics to the humanities, which need to be answered within a time limit of three hours.
