Hailing from a diverse professional background, Kenneth has years of experience in private tutoring, exam prep, and as a classroom teacher. Friendly and attentive to the learning pace of his students, Kenneth is passionate about maximising their potential, and guiding them towards the joy of learning.
Prior to joining ICON+, he was an academic and policy researcher for the National Institute of Education and the Ministry of Education. He holds an Honours (Distinction) degree in Political Science from the National University of Singapore (NUS), and a Master’s (Distinction) degree in Music Composition from the University of Aberdeen. A recipient of the NUS Dean’s List Award and prestigious Carlaw-Ogston Master of Music Scholarship, he has a track record of stellar academic performance. An accomplished writer, he has also published scholarly articles in Psychology of Music, a top-tier academic journal.
He loves choral music, and in addition to his output as a composer, Kenneth sings, conducts, and deputises in various ensembles around Singapore.
