Jump Start Your College Planning

It’s never too early to start your college planning. Below are some tips from the College Board to help you prepare:

  1. Get Involved  -  Colleges don’t just look at your transcripts and standardized test scores. Your extracurricular activities are important too. Find something you like to do and get involved!
  2. Take Challenging Courses  - Universities not only look at your grades they also look at the level of difficulty of your course work. Think about taking a more challenging class.
  3. Get Help - Are you falling behind in your classes? Don’t be afraid to ask for help from a tutor.
  4. Don’t Delay – Take the SAT or other standardized tests such as the TOEFL or IELTS on time.
