Students can visit www.collegeboard.org website to register and check on the next available subject test dates.

 

SAT Subject Tests (formerly known as the Achievement or SAT II's) are 60 minute multiple choice exams designed to measure knowledge and skills in particular subject areas.

Selective colleges often want more test information than the SAT alone provides, so they require students to take Subject Tests. With so many students having essentially the same grades and SAT Reasoning scores, they're looking for additional information to help them figure out whom to admit.

No. Students can only take either one during the test day.

Yes. Each Subject Test is one hour in length and you can take one, two, or three Subject Tests on the same day (Maximum is 3 tests in a day). Should student wish to take more than 3, they have to take the remaining test on the next available test date.

Some colleges specify the Subject Tests they require for admission, but most allow students to choose which tests to take. If you're unsure about the SAT Subject Tests and which schools require them, see below. Alternatively, it will be best to check directly with the school.

Course-related questions

You can come to our centre personally or do the registration online. Registration is confirmed when payment is received. You can choose to pay by cash, NETS, Visa/Mastercard or cheque.

As the duration of our programs is short, a student pass is not necessary. Our international students have comfortably completed our programs using a tourist visa. If required, we will provide you with the necessary documentation needed for an extension of your visa.

For rescheduling of lessons, students are required to give ICON+ a minimum notice of 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson, failing which would result in forfeiture of the lesson.

ICON+’s international team of professional instructors are dedicated to your preparation process. All ICON+ instructors have

  • completed a grueling Master Trainer Program that lasts over 200 hours; only one in five trainees will successfully do so;
  • at least 5 years of instructional experience;
  • achieved minimum 95th percentile in the test they are teaching; and
  • a proven record of producing high-scoring students.
