Hidden assumption questions can be tricky. Here’s a tip that will help:

If the “flipped” answer weakens the conclusion then the original answer is the hidden assumption

Here’s an example:
Argument - Car X is the most expensive car, therefore Car X is the best car.
Question - What is the hidden assumption?

Answer (D) the more expensive the car is, the better the car is.
Flipped Answer (D) the more expensive the car is, the worse the car is.

The “flipped” answer weakens the argument, it is your correct answer choice!
