As report by the BusinessWeek business school blog – a recent survey of the top ten U.S. business schools indicated that there has been a 110% increase in “social-benefit” course offerings from 2004 to 2009. Nonprofit management courses have also increased at a similar rate.
Yale came out on top - it increased the number social-benefit classes from 45 to 95. Wharton led percentage-wise with the biggest increase – 271%. But the number of courses at Wharton only increased from two to eight.
